Air Pot Care and Replacement
- The air pots need to be pre-heated prior to the first use by pouring hot water in them. If you pour coffee into a cold air pot, the temperature of the coffee will drop off significantly.
- There is a vacuum seal inside the air pots. If one has been dropped, dented, or banged around, it is possible the vacuum seal has been broken and the coffee will not be kept hot. To check this, place your hand on the outside of the air pot. If you can feel heat, the vacuum seal has been broken and you should replace it.
