Major Work Rules

As a member of the Jack’s Team, all employees have a responsibility to the company and to the fellow employees to conduct themselves according to certain rules of behavior.  Certain guidelines and rules have been established for everyone’s protection and welfare. Failure to abide by the following rules and guidelines will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination:

  1. Any violation of Anti-Harassment, Anti-Discrimination or Anti-Retaliation policy. If you believe that a direction has been given to you that is not legal, ethical or within the scope of Jack’s business, you should immediately notify Jack’s management using the Speak Up Program.
  2. Firearms or any dangerous weapons are prohibited on the premises.
  3. Rudeness to a guest will not be tolerated.
  4. Horseplay, inappropriate behavior, use of profane and/or vulgar language is prohibited.
  5. Verbal arguments or provocation that leads to physical contact among Jack’s employees, customers, vendors or guests is prohibited.
  6. Insubordination: You may be asked to perform job functions not directly related to the position to which you were initially assigned. We expect you to comply with the directions given by management provided those directions are legal, ethical, and within the scope of Jack’s business.
  7. Any violation of drug/alcohol policy.
  8. Theft of food, customer information, cash or company property cannot be removed from the premises without Regional Director consent.
  9. Integrity Violations: Falsifying company records such as employment applications, time and attendance records, statistical reports, inventory, voids and deletes. Using customer rewards receipt points is also prohibited.
  10. Solicitation of employees is prohibited. This includes the sale of products, services or merchandise.
